What are the commissions / fees?
Unlike most other marketplaces, Host Flippers doesn't charge a commission fee ("success fee"). When a sale is completed, the seller gets the full amount! It's also completely free to list your business on Host Flippers.
Only when a buyer wants to contact you, or place an offer on your listing, we will charge a small fee in order for you to obtain the contact information of the buyer and initiate negotiations.
Can I remain private?
We totally understand and respect that you may not want the world to know that your business is for sale.
That's why you can choose to make your listing confidential, which will require prospective buyers to sign an NDA before any revealing information is shown. As a seller, you're in control over who gets to access the listing, and you can also revoke an NDA at anytime.
Will Host Flippers help negotiate a deal?
No. Host Flippers does not take an active part in the discussions or negotiations. We only facilitate the process through the help of our platform and tools. Communication is done directly between the buyer and the seller, and Host Flippers does not influence the terms of the deal.
Because Host Flippers does not earn a commission from the seller, we have no incentive to bring up the price or in any way act favorable to the seller.
How do I get paid?
Host Flippers have partnered with Escrow.com, which is one of the most reputable escrow payment service providers. This ensures that the seller gets paid, and also provides security that the buyer's funds are kept in a secure bank account until the deal has been finalized.
If for some reason, both parties agree to an alternative payment method, that is of course not a problem.
Who is behind Host Flippers?
Host Flippers was started by veterans with vast experience from the web hosting industry. The founders have both started and sold multiple businesses throughout the year, and saw the need for a bespoke service aimed to simplify the process of selling a business.
